Topping up and managing your Prepaid account

View your balance now

MyBell app

  1. Launch the MyBell app on your device.
  2. Touch Balance at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Your balance and account details are displayed.

MyBell (Web)

  1. Log in to MyBell.
  2. Select Prepaid account.
  3. Your balance and account details are displayed.

Top up with a prepaid card now

MyBell app

  1. Launch the MyBell app on your device.
  2. Touch TOP UP NOW.
  3. Touch PREPAID CARD.
  4. Enter the top-up PIN. Take note of the value of the top-up after validation. Touch Submit.
  5. Review the Terms of Service and touch I AGREE.
  6. Confirm your new balance.

Note: If you’re late topping up your account, it will take up to 30 minutes before your device will be ready to use again.

MyBell (Web)

  1. Log in to MyBell.
  2. Scroll down to and select Top up now.
  3. Select By prepaid card and select Next.
  4. Enter the prepaid card number into both fields.
  5. Select Next.
  6. Review your top-up details, accept the Terms of Service and select Submit.
  7. Confirm your new balance.

Top up using a credit card now

MyBell app

  1. Launch the MyBell app on your device.
  2. Touch TOP UP NOW.
  3. Touch CREDIT CARD.
  4. Select the top-up amount you want to add. 
  5. Enter your credit card details and security code and touch REVIEW.
  6. Review your top-up amount and touch MAKE PAYMENT.
  7. Review the Terms of Service and touch I AGREE.
  8. Confirm your new balance.

MyBell (Web)

  1. Log in to MyBell.
  2. Scroll down to and select Top up now.
  3. Select By credit card and select Next.
  4. Select the top-up amount and choose the credit card option from the drop-down list.
  5. Enter your credit card details and security code and select Next.
  6. Review your top-up details, accept the Terms of Service and select Submit.
  7. Confirm your new balance.

The pre-authorized top-up program adds funds to your Prepaid phone account by the amount that you've set whenever your balance drops below $5, your funds expire or a combination of both.

Set up pre-authorized top-ups now

MyBell app

  1. Launch the MyBell app on your device.
  2. Touch Pre-authorized top-ups.
  3. Select an automatic top-up option.
  4. We will set up a monthly top-up in this example.
  5. Confirm your top-up amount and method of payment and touch CONTINUE.
  6. Enter your credit card information and touch REVIEW PAYMENT DETAILS.
  7. Confirm your payment and credit card information and touch Submit.
  8. Review the Terms of Service and Pre-authorized Payment Terms and touch I AGREE.
  9. Your pre-authorized payments have been set up.

MyBell (Web)

  1. Log in to MyBell.
  2. Scroll down to and select Learn about pre-authorized top-ups.
  3. Select an automatic top-up option:
  4. monthly, balance or a combination. We will set up a balance top-up in this example. 
  5. Select Next.
  6. Select the balance to top-up at and the amount to be added.
  7. Select credit card from the Method of payment drop-down list. Enter your card details and security code.
  8. Select Next.
  9. Confirm your automatic top-up details. Review the Terms of Service and Pre-authorized Payment Terms and check the box.
  10. Select Submit.
  11. Your pre-authorized top-up has been set up.

Cancel pre-authorized top-ups now

MyBell app

  1. Launch the MyBell app on your device.
  2. Touch Balance.
  3. Touch Manage under Your automatic top-up status.
  4. Touch CANCEL PRE-AUTHORIZED PAYMENTS.
  5. Confirm you want to cancel pre-authorized top-ups and touch SUBMIT.
  6. Your pre-authorized top-ups have been cancelled.

MyBell (Web)

  1. Log in to MyBell.
  2. Scroll down to and select Change pre-authorized top-up.
  3. Select Cancel pre-authorized top-ups and select Next.
  4. Confirm you want to cancel pre-authorized top-ups and select Submit.
  5. Your pre-authorized top-ups have been cancelled.  

You expressly authorize Bell to charge your credit card or other pre-authorized payment vehicle the amount of any charges (including taxes) due under your account if (a) you have requested pre-authorized payment via credit card or other pre-authorized payment vehicle, (b) such charges (including any amounts due as a result of termination of Services before the end of your Service Commitment Period) are outstanding or (c) the Services and this Agreement are terminated. This will constitute Bell’s sufficient authority for doing so. You promise that the credit card for which you have provided information to Bell is in your name, is valid and has not expired. You promise to promptly advise Bell if your credit card information changes due to its loss, theft, cancellation or expiry or other reason.

Review the Bell Mobility Terms of Service

Depending on your Prepaid setup, you can add texting, data and calling features.

Update your add-ons now

MyBell app

  1. Launch the MyBell app on your device.
  2. Touch your phone number.
  3. Scroll down to Add-ons and touch Manage.
  4. We will add a long distance calling feature in this example.
  5. Touch Long distance.
  6. Select a long distance feature and touch Review changes.
  7. Touch Submit changes.
  8. The long distance feature has been added.

MyBell (Web)

  1. Log in to MyBell.
  2. Scroll down to and select Add/remove add-ons.
  3. Select the add-on you want to add or remove and select Continue.
  4. Review your changes and select Submit.
  5. Your add-ons have been updated.

Depending on your Prepaid add-ons, you can monitor your texting, calling and data usage in the MyBell app.

  1. Launch the MyBell app on your device.
  2. Touch Balance.
  3. Scroll down to view your text, voice, and data usage details and expiry date of features.
