Getting the Autopay credit

You will receive a monthly credit of $10 per line when you select an eligible rate plan and set up pre-authorized payments from an eligible bank account.

To qualify for the Autopay credit, select Bank account as your payment method and enter your banking information, including your bank name, account holder name, transit number, and account number.

Debit card payments (Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit) are not eligible for the Autopay credit, so make sure to use your bank account information and not the numbers on your card.

Eligible for the Autopay credit:

  • Pre-authorized payments set up using a bank account

Not eligible for the Autopay credit:

  • Pre-authorized payments set up using a credit card
  • Pre-authorized payments set up using a debit card
  • Manual (one-time) bill payments
  • Any payment method other than pre-authorized payment from a bank account
You will receive a 31-day grace period to register for pre-authorized debit payments after adding the autopay credit in an order. If you do not set up pre-authorized debit payment within grace period, the credit will be removed.
Postpaid customers can sign up for pre-authorized debit payments by logging into MyBell and entering their bank information.
The autopay credit will only apply to lines on an eligible rate plan. If you wish to receive the credit on all your lines, then all lines on the account must be on an eligible rate plan.
The autopay credit is only available to eligible rate plans. If you wish to take advantage of the autopay credit, you need to change your plan to an eligible one. If you decide to keep your current ineligible plan, you will not receive autopay credits, but you can still enjoy the benefits of timely payments through pre-authorized debit payments, ensuring your bill is paid on time without any late payment charges.
You’ll receive the Autopay credit while you’re on an eligible rate plan and registered for pre-authorized debit payments. You can change bank accounts at any time without losing the credit. However, if you change your payment method to pre-authorized credit card or monthly invoice, the credit will be removed.
Eligibility for the Autopay credit each month is based on paying your bill by pre-authorized debit payments each month. One-time payments by credit card are not eligible for the Autopay credit.

The Autopay credit will be removed after the 31-day grace period ends. However, if you are still on an Autopay-eligible rate plan, you can set up pre-authorized debit payments anytime in the future and the credit will be applied starting on the next bill. Simply log in to MyBell and sign up.
