How to record a program and watch something else at the same time with Bell Satellite TV service

Models 9241, 9242, 9400, 9500

HD PVR models 9241, 9242, 9400 and 9500 allow you to record two programs simultaneously while watching a third program that you’ve previously recorded. For model 9242, your receiver must be operating in single mode.

To record a program and watch something else at the same time, do the following:

1. Press the RECORD button on your remote control while watching the program you wish to record. This allows you to record the program or create recurring timers. 
2. After you have started recording your program, simply press the up or down arrows on your remote to change channels, or choose another program from the guide.
