We collect your personal information by asking your permission when you launch the Bell App Widget. The information gathered depends on what the App Widget requires to perform. Some examples of information include your name, phone number, and location data.

The Bell App Widget uses your personal information to provide you with customized content and information about products and services that might be relevant to you.

We may also use your personal information to troubleshoot problems with the widget, make improvements, or create analytics reports.

Personal information, wireless device details and information about your use of the Bell App Widget may be shared with other Bell companies1 and third-party service providers.

You may permit or decline access to your personal information through the permissions granting process for the Bell App Widget. If you decline access, you will see less customized content.

Permission requested
Location The location data related to your device is required for the Bell App Widget to display the appropriate content in your region. For example, some sports content is subject to geo-restrictions and is only available in certain areas of the country.
PhoneYour phone number is required to validate your wireless carrier and the type of device so we can display relevant content.

Your device may allow you to manage your permissions for the Bell App Widget under the ‘Settings’ icon.

You may disable or not use the Bell App Widget if you do not want the app to collect, use or disclose your personal information.
