Activating Bell Connected Things online

The Connected Things self-activation tool allows you to instantly activate your connected devices purchased from Bell.

Eligible devices:

  • Arlo Go
  • Bell Connected Car Plug-in
  • Samsung SmartThings Tracker

Before you activate your Connected Things, you’ll need the following on hand:

  • The IMEI (can be found on the box)
  • A SIM card or eSIM (EID number) as required
  • If you’re activating a prepaid plan, you’ll also need a credit card

Activate your Connected Things

I can’t find the IMEI number.

The IMEI can be found on the device packaging or on the device itself.
Alternatively, you can pair your connected device with your smartphone or tablet. Once paired, you can find the IMEI in the settings of the corresponding app (e.g., look for the Arlo Go IMEI in the Arlo Go app).
If you are still having trouble, please contact the manufacturer.

Activating a SIM card or eSIM.

SIM card
Insert the SIM card and follow your device’s quick start guide to complete the activation.

eSIM (EID number)
Download your eSIM and follow your device’s quick start guide to complete the activation.

If you need to purchase a SIM card or an eSIM (EID number), please visit a Bell store or contact us.
